Pinoccio and Reno Collective

So, I'm *wwaaayyy* behind on what's happening in Reno and the Reno Collective.  So this article says the office is moving Arlington Towers and interesting arduino style startup stuff happening.  What's the scoop? This is really cool!

I was able to see Eric Jennings' presentation to the NNSDG last month of the Pinoccio mesh network system. The presentation was great, and even managed to make my stodgy brain spark a few new ideas I hadn't considered before. I highly recommend checking it out: http://pinocc.io/

And yes, it's my understanding that Reno Collective will be moving to their new location in Arlington Towers fairly soon now. I wasn't able to find any info on this in a cursory perusal of their site, however, so I invite anyone on this list in the know to fill us in. From what I've heard so far, it's a very exciting move. And as a reminder, our monthly Reno.rb meeting will be taking place at the Reno Collective tomorrow, Monday, the 22nd of April at 5:30.

FYI, just found this... If any of you are regular users of Google Calendar, you can add the Reno Collective public events calendar to your google calendar by pasting 'renocollective.com_4d7...@group.calendar.google.com' into your 'Other calendars' field.

Nothing that I know of. I just gave two 3 hour Ruby workshops at UNR this last week and a few of us gave a two day Ruby and Rails class this weekend. I can talk about that … if my voice still works.

There is build-out happening at the new location and we'd like to move in in May.
