Canon Printer Driver Download 2900

Hello, I am currently developing an android app for usb printers. I test my app with other printer and is successfully print. But with Canon printer model LBP 2900B , the printer is connected and cannot print. I just want to know the information of Canon printer model LBP 2900B. Is Canon printer model LBP 2900B use ptp or ftp? And is Canon printer model LBP 2900B support android app to print? I found that canon use CAPT.
Canon MG2922 is a great printer in general, but has a serious networking flaw that causes the printer to go offline seemingly for no reason, and stay offline despite repeated efforts to put it back online. I found a solution so I'm copying-and-pasting my (super-long) notes here that might help other users experiencing the same problem. TLDR: Create restore point, nuke Canon entries from the registry, reboot, reinstall drivers, profit.

3) Install the drivers downloaded from above site. Unzip it, go to 64 bit folder, go to Debian folder and install them by double clicking. First install second one. While installing second package, you may get error that dependencies are not met. In that case click below given link and download libpng12-0 and install it.
(Before adding this command in terminal, check /dev/usb/.......path and see if you have lp0 file is there or not. I had lp1 instead. Add it accordingly. If there is no file, probably you haven't started the printer, when you start it that file comes there.)
I had all the problems indicated above and elsewhere. So I reinstalled Ubuntu 18.04. Without doing anything else, I plugged in my printer, switched on, and Ubuntu asked if I wanted to install it. I agreed and it went ahead and installed it perfectly. Of course my computer was connected to the internet, via USB.
Not only the printer worked, but also the scanner, using Simple Scan. On my laptop, which is also dual boot Win 10 and Ubuntu 18.04, and which had a wireless connection to the internet, I followed the same procedure and again the printer was installed without any intervention from me.
Hi. I have a file (cnijfilter2-5.00-1-deb) that is a driver for my Canon MG2922--it's a wireless printer. When I try to run the file with Gdeb package installer, I get a message that the file may be corrupt, or the permissions might need to be changed. I can select the printer for scanning, though. I have tried "chmod +rwx cnijfilter2-5.00-1-deb", as you can see from the screenshot. I'm unsure what else to try.

Thanks for spotting that the file is not a .deb. I am wondering if someone could provide a link to the file: cnijfilter2_5.00-1_amd64.deb I tried clicking install for the .sh and ran in terminal, but the printer is never found. I am hoping the .deb file would install the driver for the printer. I have no printer usb, so am only hoping the network finds the printer.
