My experience is nowhere near as detailed and thorough as yours, but I will say for the benefit of anyone else reading this that using the smart shooter plug in for lightroom and my a7r3, I can get the plugin window in LR to do nothing other than fire the camera.
My solution to get through this job is to simply use the smart shooter 4 software in the background, use the liveview to check focus, (which I will adjust by twisting the lens on the camera), and set ap and shutter speed, then go back to LR and use the plug in window to fire the camera and then immediately use LR to rename the file, check focus, apply colorchecker profile, etc.
SMART SHOOTER announced that the United States Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, through its Rapid Capabilities Office (MCRCO), has recently purchased several of its SMASH 2000 smart fire control systems for Test & Evaluation. The systems will be delivered this Fall.
RADA develops portable tactical radars that are used in anti-drones air defense systems, while Smart Shooter has developed a smart fire control system for small arms, which homes in on the target by employing AI-based image processing, and assists the soldier fire accurately. The two technologies are already in operational use by American forces as an anti-drones measure.
Fielded and operationally deployed by friendly forces worldwide, including the IDF, the US Special Forces, the Indian Navy, and forces from NATO and Europe, the SMASH Family of Fire Control Systems enables the platoon to be smart, precise, and connected.
The C-UAS range of fire control systems made its international debut at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris earlier this year. The SMASH 2000 Plus is reported by the company to add a drone mode to its targeting systems which allows the shooter to lock onto a target and will only allow a round to be discharged when it can be guarantee to hit the target.
In 2008 the EXACTO program began under DARPA to develop a "fire and forget" smart sniper rifle system including a guided smart bullet and improved scope. The exact technologies of this smart bullet have not been released. EXACTO was test fired in 2014 and 2015 and results showing the bullet alter course to correct its path to its target were released.[10]
New Delhi: Israeli defence firm Smart Shooter, whose new-age fire-control system turns assault rifles into smart weapons, is looking to set up a manufacturing plant in India, eyeing more contracts besides the one it has already bagged from the Indian Navy.
We demonstrate how a first-person shooter (FPS) video game can be made more fun and challenging by replacing the hard-wired behavior of opponents with behaviors evolved via an evolutionary algorithm. Using the opensource FPS game Cube as a platform, we replaced the agents' (opponents) hard-wired behavior with binary DNA supporting a much richer variety of agent responses. Survival-of-the-fittest ensured that only those agents whose DNA allowed them to avoid being killed by the human player would continue on to the next "generation" (game). Mutating the DNA of the survivors provided enough variability in behavior to make the agent's actions unpredictable. Our demo will show how this approach produces an increasingly challenging level of play, more fine-tuned to the skills of an individual human player than the traditional approach using pre-programmed levels of difficulty or simply adding more opponents.
