A beautiful floral wallpaper full of movement in a delicate dance of vintage blooms. This Indienne based wallpaper in an aqua colourway is light and dreamy. Although this version is essentially a blue, there is an undertone of green and dusk in the background, making it fresh yet peaceful.
This beautiful paper has a weathered, vintage looking background that is a hard to describe the color. The unique color shade is a dusty gray-blue aqua - it's not green, but a blue that has a hint of green.
message:color: Must be one of dark-blue, dark-brown, dark-green, dark-orange, dark-pink, dark-purple, dark-red, dark-teal, dark-warm-gray, light-blue, light-green, light-orange, light-pink, light-purple, light-red, light-teal, light-warm-gray, light-yellow, none, not: purple
Then, I tried to create a new tag with an invalid color, to see if the error message has changed since @FreshyJon tried it.
I get that list of available colors:
light-orange, dark-orange, dark-red, light-pink, dark-pink, light-green, dark-green, light-warm-gray, dark-brown, light-teal, dark-teal, dark-purple, light-purple, light-red, light-blue
PLUS
dark-blue, dark-warm-gray, light-yellow, none
So, I created new tags, using the API, with these 3 colors.
The API does not returns error, but it changes the color.
dark-blue becomes light-blue
dark-warm-gray becomes light-warm-gray
light-yellow becomes dark-brown

Some people with low vision experience low contrast, meaning that there aren't very many bright or dark areas. Everything tends to appear about the same brightness, which makes it hard to distinguish outlines, borders, edges, and details. Text that is too close in luminance (brightness) to the background can be hard to read.
There are nearly three times more individuals with low vision than those with total blindness. One in twelve people cannot see the average full spectrum of colors - about 8% of men and 0.4% of women in the US. A person with low vision or color blindness is unable to distinguish text against a background without sufficient contrast.

Take the homepage of Delish as an example. The background image of its header section is a colorful soup. To ensure readers can still see the name of the recipe, the background color of the text box is set to white. The effect is striking and easy to read.
Say you wanted to change the background color of a web page to maroon. You would have simply added the bgcolor attribute in the opening body tag and set it to the hex color code #800000, as shown below.
However, this attribute has been deprecated in the latest version of HTML and replaced by a much better alternative, the CSS background-color property. Using this property, you can add and change background colors on your website.
To add background color in HTML, use the CSS background-color property. Set it to the color name or code you want and place it inside a style attribute. Then add this style attribute to an HTML element, like a table, heading, div, or span tag.
Next, add the style attribute to the opening tag of your element. For this tutorial, only the background color of this specific table will change. The change will not affect any other element on the page.
Every hex code contains six characters, and each pair of characters determines the intensity of the three primary colors (red, green, and blue in that order) from 00 (lowest intensity) to FF (highest intensity).
Check out a color reference like this one for a list of all HTML color names and their corresponding hex and RGB codes. When you find a color value you like, use it as the value of your background-color property (no # symbol necessary).
To add color with RGB, we use the rgb() CSS function. This function takes three values inside the parentheses, each specifying the intensity of red, green, and blue in the color. Each value is a number from 0 to 255, with 0 being the least intense and 255 being the most intense.
For even more style options, you can create a gradient background. This is a special type of image that most commonly shows one color gradually changing to another color in a certain direction like top to bottom, left to right, or diagonally.
Using HTML and CSS, you can add background color to your web page or different elements on the page. This background color can be solid, transparent, or gradient depending on the style that you like. This basic web design knowledge can enable you to customize your website and make your content more readable and engaging.
No more mountains! Mojave brought a new system-wide Dark Mode, and the OS shipped with two versions of its default wallpaper to match. Users could even have macOS slowly fade between the two background images over the course of the day.

The national flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan has a gold sun with 32 rays above a soaring golden steppe eagle, both centered on a turquoise background; the hoist side displays a national ornamental pattern called "koshkar-muiz" (the horns of the ram) in gold; the blue colour is of religious significance to the Turkic peoples of the country, and so symbolises cultural and ethnic unity; it also represents the endless sky as well as water; the sun, a source of life and energy, exemplifies wealth and plenitude; the sun's rays are shaped like grain, which is the basis of abundance and prosperity; the eagle has appeared on the flags of Kazakh tribes for centuries and represents freedom, power, and the flight to the future. The width of the flag to its length is 1:2.[1]
The gold and turquoise colours were inherited from the former Soviet flag which were the gold from the hammer and sickle and the turquoise bar from the bottom of the flag. The pattern represents the art and cultural traditions of the old Khanate and the Kazakh people. The turquoise background symbolises the peace, freedom, cultural, and ethnic unity of Kazakh people including the various Turkic people that make up the present-day population such as the Kazakhs, Tatars, Uyghurs, Uzbeks, as well as the significant Indo-European peoples. The sun represents a source of life and energy. It is also a symbol of wealth and abundance; the sun's rays are a symbol of the steppe's grain which is the basis of abundance and prosperity.
In 1916, Russia required Muslim people of central Asia to join Russian military forces. Russian colonial regime and economic instability lead to the Central Asian Revolt. Amongst Kazakhs, Amankeldı İmanov was leading figure in the revolts. He and his associated used red flag with the yellow text; blue half-moon in the top-left; blue bow, spear and an axe crossed on red background.
The final change of flag of the flag of the Kazakh SSR happened in 1953, as all Soviet republics redesigned their flags. This flag consisted of a hammer and a sickle with a star above it and a light blue horizontal stripe on a red background. The flag was briefly used after Kazakhstan gained its independence in December 1991.
My bathroom walls used to have pink paint below the wood trim, and wallpaper above the trim that had a white background and small pink polka dots. I used aqua / turquoise color as an accent in the bathroom, and was always looking for bathroom accessories and towels in that color.
(adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle[]).push();
When the wallpaper started to look worn, I decided it was time to paint. I decided to make the whole bathroom aqua and white.
First I had to remove the wallpaper, which was easy with a steamer. Then I painted the bottom half of the wall and all the trim white, and the top half of the wall my favorite shade of aqua, which matched the towels I already had.
I used a latex gloss paint for both colors. I think having a solid color and a monochromatic paint color scheme makes the small bathroom look larger. I think the aqua color looks clean and cool.
Here's a tip for keeping your painted walls and woodwork looking nice:
Save a little bit of each color of paint you use in your house by putting some in small glass jars with lids. Baby food or or small condiment jars work well.
Put a label on the jar that says which room in the house that paint goes with, and keep them in a handy place.
If your walls get smudges or scratches, it's much quicker and easier to touch them up with paint from the little jars than to rummage in the basement and have to stir up paint from a big can.
