CSO Outreach: Third High Level Panel (HLP) meeting on the Post 2015 Development Agenda
Monrovia, Liberia – 28 and 30 January 2013
Applications are now open to national, regional, and global CSO’s in Africa, Latin America, Asia, the Arab region, Europe and North America who want to participate in the upcoming CSO Outreach during the Third UN High Level Panel Meeting on the Post-2015 Development Agenda to be held in Monrovia, Liberia.
The third meeting of the High Level Panel will take place between 30 January and 2nd February 2013 under the theme of: National Building Blocks for Sustained Prosperity, with a particular focus on economic transformation. The first day of the HLP meeting will be an outreach and consultation day, where the Panel of Eminent Persons will take stock of key constituencies’ emerging positions and new evidence, including global CSOs.
The CSO outreach day will be a two and a half hour interface between forty CSO representatives and members of the HLP, held on the 30th January 2013. This meeting will be preceded by a CSO Pre-Consultative Forum on the 28th January 2013, where sixty CSO participants will have an opportunity to meet among themselves in order to prepare for the engagement with HLP members and agree on strategic consensus positions. CSOs will also use this platform to review outcomes of various CSO engagements that have taken place.
Consultations with CSOs will be jointly organized by the Africa-wide CSO Working Group on post-2015 and the Liberian CSO post-2015 Working Group and CSOs from other regions, including Latin America, Asia, North America and Europe to ensure diverse participation in the CSO outreach events.

Les candidatures sont maintenant accessibles aux OSCs nationales, régionales et globales d’Afrique, d’Amérique Latine, d’Asie, du monde Arabe, d’Europe et d’Amérique du Nord, qui souhaitent participer aux consultations des OSCs durant la Troisième Réunion du Panel de Haut Niveau sur l’Agenda de Développement post 2015, qui se tiendra à Monrovia au Libéria.
La Troisième réunion du Panel de Haut Niveau se tiendra du 30 janvier au 2 février 2013 avec le thème : « Composantes Nationales pour un Prospérité Durable », en insistant sur la transformation économique. La première journée de la réunion du Panel de Haut Niveau sera une journée de consultation et de participation, où les Personnalités de Haut Niveau du Panel feront le point sur les positions émergentes des parties prenantes, ont les OSCs globales, et les nouveaux indicateurs.
La journée de participation des OSCs offrira deux heures et demi d’échange entre quarante représentants des OSCs et les membres du Panel de Haut Niveau, le 30 janvier 2013. Cette réunion sera précédée d’un Forum Pré-Consultatif le 28 janvier 2013, où soixante participants des OSCs auront l’opportunité de se rencontrer afin de préparer leur rendez-vous avec les membres du Panel de Haut Niveau et se mettre d’accord sur les positions stratégiques consensuelles. Les OSCs utiliseront également cette plateforme pour revoir et évaluer les résultats obtenus lors des divers processus qui ont pris place précédemment.
Les consultations avec les OSCs seront organisées conjointement par le Groupe de Travail des OSCs travaillant en Afrique sur l’après 2015, le Groupe de Travail des OSCs libériennes sur l’après 2015, et des OSCs d’autres régions en provenance d’Amérique Latine, d’Asie, d’Amérique du Nord et d’Europe, afin de s’assurer d’une participation diverse dans les évènements de participation des OSCs.
