Subject: Exciting Opportunity for Students in Environmental Science and Policy

Dear Dr. Lovejoy,

My name is Kelley Harris and I am a student interning at BlueGreen Alliance in the Conference and Events Department, helping to organize the 2013 Good Jobs, Green Jobs National Conference.

The Good Jobs, Green Jobs National Conference will focus on how to grow the clean economy to scale; the role of strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors in solving the country's pressing economic and environmental challenges; and how people in every part of the U.S. are working collaboratively for social, economic, and environmental justice, while building an economy with good jobs.  The conference will be held April 15-18, 2013 at the Washington Hilton Hotel.  To learn more about the conference click here!

We are looking for young volunteers for the conference and would like to invite George Mason University students to help volunteer!  This is an exciting opportunity for students interested in environmental science, environmental policy, public policy, and green engineering to network with high-level corporate leaders, policymakers, and labor and environmental leaders who are setting the agenda for the next stage of growth in the clean energy economy. We have a special student rate of $95.  But, if you volunteer for six or more hours over the course of the four-day conference, we will waive the registration fee completely!

If you could please pass along this exciting opportunity to George Mason students, clubs, and other organizations, we would very much appreciate it! Attached to this email is a flyer explaining how to volunteer.  If you would like to contact me with any questions about the conference or the volunteer opportunity, do not hesitate to email me back at GJGJF...@bluegreenalliance.org or call me at 703-626-7607.

Thank you!

Best,
Kelley Harris
