Don't know if anyone is interested or what it costs, but it looks very interesting to me, so I thought I'd share!

Overview

This webinar will provide insight into the emerging role of MCPV solar technology as a solution for utilities, industrial, and municipal energy applications. The advantages and limitations of MCPV systems will be discussed as well as the performance of existing installations. Key criteria for evaluating an MCPV system will be presented. The levelized cost-of-energy (LCOE) for MCPV options will be compared to other alternatives. Some MCPV solutions offer the potential to cost-effectively upgrade the PV portion of the plant as cell efficiencies improve. To evaluate the potential benefit of upgradability, the LCOE projections for upgradable MCPV solutions will also be discussed.

Topics include

  • How MCPV has performed at several power plant locations
  • MCPV project finance structure
  • MCPV LCOE analysis for various locations and the value of an upgradable system
  • Project opportunities and where MCPV is the optimal solution
  • Key drivers for MCPV improvements, including efficiencies and costs
  • Key criteria in evaluating an MCPV solution for performance, installation, and ongoing operation
  • Project timelines for implementing MCPV plants and how this varies based on size
