Hope everyone is faring okay in Sandy's aftermath. I have the (lonely) pleasure of working from home in Park Slope, but I suspect there are a lot more of you who are less comfortably situated (including the other half of Rendezfoods - Sara - who is currently a refugee from her powerless, waterless LES home). Wishing you all speedy recovery and lots of booze and delicious food to lessen the pain.

Something to look forward to (pardon the ungraceful segue) next weekend on Sunday, November 11th: Keenhaven and Dinner By Lany are hosting an intimate brunch featuring delicious Cambodian-inspired food and cocktails, a "slow fashion" trunk show by Revival Style, and a special screening of the beautifully moving "Half The Sky" documentary about girls and women working for equality in developing nations.
