This song, which was the most popular song of the movie, shows the hero Prem Kishan singing a party song, accompanied by his girl friend ( Shyamli VermaNadkarni), much to the disapproval of the family members who have gathered there. For instance, one can see the expressions on the face of Leela Mishra ( the perennial mausi of Bollywood movies) to find out what she thinks of the whole affair.
This song was written and composed by Ravindra Jain. It was sung by Yesudas, Banshree Sengupta and Hemlata. And as I mentione earlier, this was the most popular song of this movie which had several very popular songs in it.
I watched the movie five times. This song must have played an important role in drawing me towards the movie hall so many times. The real reason of course was Rameshwari. It is difficult to imagine today just how much she was loved by the movie watchers in this movie. Unfortunately, she failed to capitalise on all this adulation and faded away.
How should I tell her? She is leaving our college in 2 months. Each moment is giving me pain after listening this song. Where is that moment when i'll dare to tell her, she is my life. Don't know shall I be alive without her after two months.
I am so happy that songs like this can be made -Sonu Nigam and other singers who really value our tradition of Indian film music should educate our creators of Indian film music in this modern era to produce music and songs like that we heard in the golden era of Indian film music, the times of Rafisaab, Lataji, Kishoreda, Mukeshji, Ashaji, etc.Please do not westernize - we the audience hate that..especially falcetto voices, hip hop etc, lets modernize our Indian culture, don't Westernize it! Even DID, the dances are more acrobatic than dances and so Western; what happened to our Indianess! Lets get more songs like this...thank you.

I haven't seen the movie so I don't know the purpose this song was written for but It is amazing and every word is in sync with my every heartbeat....I can relate to it so much it brings tears to my eyes but no one else knows how much it means to me because it's hidden deep inside my heart in the most purest chamber :)
I had the opportunity to hear this song live during his Klose to my Soul concert that took place in Dallas... And now I can't stop listening to it. So in love with this song, the musical composition and the way it was sung. This is a masterpiece for sure! A classic! Beautiful! Cannot praise this song or the wonderful artist Sonu Nigam enough! I chose this song to my 2 PM, after lunch alarm, to wake me up from sleepy mood to remind me to the losses I made & to look for those new ways to overcome and energise me. May be the voice suits my feeling.
