There's Safety In Numbers

It's true! The more, the merrier.

Don't forget to tell a neighbor about the Google Groups site AND the
Facebook group. It's good that we can hear when things are happenning
around the neighborhood so we can watch out for eachother, but I
wonder how much we don't hear about just because people aren't
connected in some way. So far, we have 34 members in this group, but i
saw tons more people at the block party... Let's try to get more
people involved with the page this summer.

If we can just find even one neighbor who isn't on the Google Groups
page and the Facebook page, and encourage them to get connected, we
can have a stronger, more effective community of families who can look
out for eachother.

It's just better to be informed, and the more we have, the more
informed we can become: HOA events, Neighborhood Watch events, things
happenning in the park around our kids, things happenning to your
neighbor's houses, break-in attempts... you know what i'm talking
about. So get with a neighbor or two this summer and let's get the
groups stronger on Google Groups and Facebook.

I can personally think of four families right now that i'm going to
talk to this week. How about you?
