NOC to transfer REMRAAM property
I recently went to transfer ownership of a Remraam unit. We reached the DPG offices on SZR near Business Bay Metro station around 10;00am. With the buyer and seller present with all original documents (title deed; original passports+visa etc). We were able to complete the process in around 2-3 hours.
Dubai Property Group is charging Aed 500 just for the application to transfer ownership.Another Aed 2000 is paid on the issuance of the NOC, same day.
The seller will settle all dues with DEWA and provide the documentary evidence of full and final bill settlement.
This whole process takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete.
The second way of obtaining NOC is by paying DPG Aed 5000 to take care of the DEWA account and issuing the NOC straight away.
We got our NOC done by paying a total of Aed 500+2000/- but the seller had to go and settle the DEWA account himself in order to save the buyer Aed 3000/-. Going to DEWA and coming back to DPG took about 45m
Overall, it was a easy enough procedure. DPG offices are nice and the location is very convenient with guests being served beverages. Car parking is easily available and FREE. Afterwards we all went to DLD authorized offices to complete the transfer on the same day. Title deed in the new owner's name was issued the next day.
I hope this helps Remraam buyers and sellers.
Regards,
Abbas
