Thelogic board on the new 15 inch macbook pro retina is busted. I need to recover the data from my 256GB PCIe-based flash storage. Since the macbook pro doesnt boot up - there is no way for me to recover this data. It would be great if there is way to recover this data through a reader or using it as an external hard drive ?

I have got a similar problem. But my MacBook is the MBP 13" from early 2013. However, all the enclosures I found state they are for MacBooks starting mid 2013. Is there something similar for the early version. What is the difference?

OWC (macsales.com) and perhaps others may have a Thunderbolt enclosure that will work with the proprietary connector on the SSD. Before you resort to that, make sure the computer won't start in target disk mode (T key down at startup.)

Well I forgot to mention the model id is MACBOOK PRO 11,2 which is the latest. I did not find anything on OWC for this model. And apple store had no clue on how to copy this. Its surprising that they dont have a way to recover.
