Collecting Data, and Send to Server in XUL

Dear People,

I am glad to be here with u. Am developing an application in XUL. Am
challenged by the following.
I need to pick data from a user, send that data to a server, then the
server saves that data That data will later be viewed by managers at
the end of each day. So I thought I would use xmlHttpRequest to do the
transportation.

Please help me!

Also can someone point me to a tutorial that does;
-gets input from a user
-saves data
-sends the data to a server at the end of the day, may be after at
00.00 hrs daily.
-At the server-side, one should be able to see all data sent,

I have already designed the GUIs in XUL. Problem is how to make the
gui functional.
