RemixOS has strange messages on install and won't boot

I get 2 strange messages on installation as a VM in VirtualBox after choosing Resident Mode: ‘intel_rapl: no valid rapl domains found in package.. cannot detect package: System may fail to bootup. To continue press Enter’ and ‘Not enough space to create data partition. Unable to use persistent mode. To continue press enter.’. I pressed Enter in reply to both messages. 

Also, when I try to boot into RemixOS after installation completes, the RemixOS logo keeps on flashing and nothing more happens.

I've used the instructions at https://technohackerblog.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/how-to-install-remix-os-on-virtualbox.html 

That involved: Now start the VM, choose Resident Mode and press Tab. Remove the "DATA= CREATE_DATA_IMG=1" part and type "INSTALL=1" (no quotes).

In VirtualBox I've changed settings: setting the PAE/NX option, setting 3D Acceleration, changing Processors to Max Green (i.e. 2), changing Video Memory to Max Green (i.e. 128Mb). I have 2GB Memory & 16GB Storage in VirtualBox.

Remix OS Player is still in development for some devices. Try Remix OS for x86 in the meantime (jide.com/remixos-for-pc)
