con esta actualización sigue sin funcionar el wifi, tengo un dell inspiron 1525, no funciono la actualización por OTA, tuve que hacer una instalación limpia! y pensé que se solucionaría mi problema pero sigue igual!!! ahora nuevamente me toca volver a la version de abril del 2016, la unica estable en el momento para mi sistema!! espero pronta solución!!! gracias de todas formas estoy fascinado con el sistema REMIX!!

I can confirm wifi is still broken for broadcom 43xx driver in 2.0.403.

Before the recent updates, Wifi was working fine, but with the updates, if I run a terminal and then run "dmesg | less", I can see in there the following:

I can confirm that /lib/firmware/b43/ucode15.fw does exist, 35512 bytes

After boot, wifi is consistently not working, but as a workaround I've been able to get wifi working like this:

1.  Run terminal

2.  Run command:  su -

3.  Allow the su - access

4.  rmmod b43

5.  rmmod ssb

5.  modprobe b43

Excelente trabajo con Remix OS

 Lo estoy probando en una Dell Inspiron 1525 y el wifi no funciona en 2.0.402 pero en la 403 si funciona con la condicion que la tarjeta de red inalambrica debe estar activada por el interruptor externo antes de arrancar el sistema.

I  have Dell Inspiron 1525 and wifi do not funtion in 2.0.402 but in 403 is ok but,, it need the condition that, the wifi card must be active by external switch before booting system.

  The link you posted lead's to  a version dated inside the zipped folder of July 12th and does not work. Remix_OS_for_PC_64bit_B2016071101.zip
  The site says it was last dated the 13th, this is two days before the new version was released.

the first time i boot Remix OS on my Dell 1525 in Resident Mode with flashdrive, it turn on de wifi card but next booting do not do.
but if i try guest mode (no Resident Mode), it turn on wifi card.

At first mine seemed not having wlan, but when tried with another pc with lan wlan worked.
maybe lan & wlan tied?, other than that most works nicely.
dtcp-ip (copyright protection in japan) worked in twonky beam, letting me see tv programs on my pc.

So still no sound from HDMI on a discreet GPU.. I run a diamond amd Radeon r7 250 and video looks amazing on this build but the no sound issue is a deal breaker. I shouldn't have to hook a set of external speakers up when Windows and other Linux versions run sound through HDMI without a problem. I'm beginning to think that remix really isn't paying any attention to bug reports at all as this has been going on since version 202.
