to Remix OS for PC
Here is the procedure -

I've downloaded the most recent ISO - Remix_OS_for_PC_Android_M_64bit_B2016101201
Installed it to a known working usb key

I can boot this key in guest mode to the remix desktop - no problem

System is pretty non-special..
A GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 with an LGA 1156 Core i3 and 4 (2x2) 133mhz ram in a mini-itx package.
It does have a Geforce 8600 GT with 2 DVI ports - seems to be working (works in android x86, linux, windows, andEx etc.)

I boot a Linux Mint 18 key - use GParted to format a 2tb hd to Ext4 - with the boot flag and an msdos partition table.

Boot the USB key with Remix on it. Hit tab key at the RESIDENT or GUEST screen and add INSTALL=1 to the line of text.

Installer starts, I don't format, choose the proper drive SDA - install here, install grub, set system to READ/WRITE and do not install Grub EFI (don't need it)

remove key, start computer, get to new bootloader with 4 options and tgrub, every single option fails with error 24 -

Any idea how to get past this?

The only solution I see is to create a smaller partition to hold /boot but I don't think the installer is intelligent enough to know about it.

Grub error 24 means "Attempt to access block outside partition".

Creating a smaller (200MB in this case) partition to hold /boot resolved the issue. <--- ?
