Androidx86 6.0 RC2 and 3.0.201 OTA Support by not using the Jide Installer

Hi there. today i stumbled upon an update! so cool!

im running 3.0.104 at the moment. works great and well. i update using the .iso cause i cant find it in the official OTA in it.

But i read the changelogs and i pondered upon this.

well i did the OTA before flawlessy. I installed this on my HDD using the old method like copying the files> create data.img without the help of the included installer on the zip.

the question.

in this new update without using the official installer INCLUDES the OTA or not.

i know that im using the non official but working way of making RemixOS work on my computer by not using the included installer.

but if this does not support. it'll mean that ill update using the ISO's frequently which is big and bulky with 900+ size everytime.

i dont hate this OS but sure i love RemixOS! and FYI screen mirroring works great! :D

It includes the OTA,there were only a warning saying Jide is against installing ota on my pc since it can cause damages etc. But i managed to get rid of that warning with little bit of hacking ;)
Also you don't have to download the iso every time, Use the official updater (or you can even download the ota package from browser and update manually,if you are really crazy like me)

all right. I fixed it by reintalling it again with the official installer then overlay my previous data.img and works fine as usual :)

is official installer work on baytrail tablets like Dell Venue MS Surface Lenovo Miix series etc ?
