No, I don't think anyone has it working yet.  Mine won't even try to boot.

Bootloader won't show on Acer Aspire Switch (pretty much the same as T100), just loads straight into Windows.

I found a way to work on Asus t100 from hard disk but need usb to boot - Make an Android OS folder on C and put in all content from installation directory (Remix OS) after move folder EFi on a USB stick remove Bit locker encryption from windows 10 System and Disable Secure Boot from Bios. Now restart system with usb in and press and hold Power Button and Volume down now sytem you show a UEFI start app option select this with Home Button (key down from volume button on side of tablet) now the system show remix OS you wait about 15 minitues (first time system create patritions) when start Remix OS you can remove usb (OS run from harddisk) but you need this any time to start agoin Remix OS

Ok to be clear (I understand English is not your first language!)

Just need to know number 3 (folder and file paths would be useful!)

  1. Create folder on C: drive called 'android'
  2. Mount 32 bit Remix OS iso
  3. ?? what files and folders do I copy across to 'android folder' ??
  4. Copy 'efi' folder on mounted drive to USB stick
  5. Remove Bitlocker (No Bitlocker available on Win10 Home Edition)
  6. Disable Secure Boot from BIOS (enter supervisor password in BIOS screen to access this option)
  7. Restart system with USB inserted
  8. Press and hold Power Button + Volume Down
  9. Use Home Button (side of screen) to show UEFI start app
  10. Remix away!

Is there a logfile I can read to see what the issue might be?

Guys, big picture question, and this was my initial thoughts after having no success. So copy all 64 bit beta stuff to a location, but then replace the efi boot folder with the 32 bit one? then put on a stick to boot?

I am likely confused.

Does 32 bit work?  I thought we needed EFI for the T100 and 32 bit is legacy bios only?

I tried the 32 bit.  It did work and booted fine.  I wasn't excited about it though.  WIFI didn't work and so couldn't try much.  I did notice that the 64 bit EFI version had the camera app that worked on my other laptop.  This 32 bit legacy one didn't have the camera app at all (just like alpha).  Anyone try the manual boot drive build yet instead of the automatic drive creator?  That sounds like our best bet.

I'm giving up, seems to still be an alpha product which requires hacks to work on Atom processors.

Do they still make these devices with 32-bit UEFI? If so then hopefully Jide come up with a way to install, I want to convert from Windows 10!

OK here is what I got to work so far for Asus t100. 32 bit, install to hard drive (no Windows). It will hang as ext2 or ext4. If I make fat32, works fine but makes a drive no bigger than 2GB. So does anyone else have an idea for making it work in something other than fat32?

Hi everybody, and sorry for my bad english. I've found this boot problem too on my T100Ta. Guessing it was a problem due to the installer that comes in the beta version, I've just tried to use the one in the previous alpha, and it worked for me. Obviously, you have to choose the right .iso when istalling.
Now, sadly, I've found that the three principal bugs with the T100 were still there: the led of the webcam always on, the screen rotation not working and, worst of all, the system does not go into standby mode, with the screen that goes off for just one second and suddendly comes back on but at the minimum dimming.
Without these problems been solved, this really wonderful project is unusable. And it's a real pity, because I'd love to have such kind of Android based OS on my T100.
Guido
