In general: I want to install Remix OS as primary OS to a partition on my HDD. I've tried number of ways but none of them would boot. Everything so far is dual boot it with Windows or Ubuntu.
My goal: Install Remix OS only in HDD. No dual-boot with anything else, no live flash drive or DVD. Resident between reboots.
I have another Windows machine to do the installation.
What I've tried:
- copying usb partition to HDD primary active partition (failed - no grldr)
- use remix os installer included (failed - no grldr)
- copy grldr to remix os partition and create menu.lst (detected/found android x86 at sda, stuck at A N D R O I D, no shell command, not proceed to loading logo)
- raw copy iso to HDD (unrecognized by windows)
From what I've observed when using Remix OS installer there is ubnldr in HDD boot partition, but it's strange when booting throws NO GRLDR error. (chainload?)
Thank you for your help!
