Is there an unrooted 64bit version of remix os or is there a way to unroot the current release?
Are there any other suggestions to make unroot happen?

Many thanks

I asked a valid question, I do not require someone asking me why I require the question answered.

I will ask again,

If you download ISO from jide.com/en you will have a RemixOS version without root rights.

If it were that easy I would have it already unrooted. On a fresh install last night, I tried again to install and run an app that requires no root. The app installed, would start but then stated it could not run on a rooted device (its a tablet).
So it appears, for some reason, there is a built in root of some kind or the app does not like my (originally) windows tablet for some reason.

Try installing SuperSu app and update binaries if asked, and uncheck Enable root. That should hide your su binaries, it might work. Good luck!

I cannot update the binaries in supersu for some reason. Which ever update option I choose, normal or twrp, nothing happens, just hangs. As it is a windows tablet, I do not have twrp or other installed, no tablet option for usb debugging available within remixos as far as i can see.

Stock has forced system ro and a /system/xbin/su binary used for root shell (ALT&F1); removing this might make the app work, but chances are that even if the app is looking for su to determine root, it is also made to run on only select devices, with the developer being too lazy to device restrict the app in the PlayStore
