I used HP Envy X360 15-w002nx working fine with Hard Disk Installation but boot screen is black and white.

I followed steps

1.     Used Remix Installation Tool and installed 64bit UEFI Remix OS.

2.     I disabled Secure Boot

3.     Change the boot order.

4.      But black and white Resident or guest mode selection screen.

Then I uninstall the Remix OS from Hard Disk. Because I wanted to try Remix OS On USB I bought new USB SanDisk Dual 32 GB. I followed Remix OS Installation tool for USB installation process. Installation done without any error. I restart the computer and disabled the secure boot changed booting order.

Saved the changes after that Remix OS shows black and white screen to select resident or guest mode selection. I selected resident mode. After that it showed me android is detecting I waited for long time.

No response. Then I shut down the computer searched in google remix OS group for I found that remove the USB when is showing detecting android attached again USB after 5 seconds. It got success to reach another step green color android screen after that I got another screen Remix OS Splash screen. I waited for long time near about 25 minutes but not further screen. It got stuck on Remix OS Splash Screen. I also tried with Unetbootin to install Remix OS. Any solution?

Thanks!

When you get to the black/white Remix OS screen, try pressing the power button on the laptop/computer. Don't hold it, just press and release, right away. I have the issue where it will lock, until I press the power button.

That is for screen timeout. But I stuck in Remix OS Splash Screen. Do you know is SanDisk Dual 32 GB blocked the bootable USB option? Might be that reason!

If bootable USB is blocked by SanDisk then it wouldnt even get to the logo or it wouldnt even get detected in the BIOS. (And I used a SanDisk USB too, now Im on a SSD installation) Can you maybe provide us your Computer specs?

I installed it to SSD, because my PC just has SSDs it just like Hard disk installation. Maybe try loading with kernel-comands: nouveau.modeset=0 and i915.modeset=1

My PC:

AMD FX9590 (cooled by Corsair H110i GTX)
MSI 990FXA Gaming Mainboard
2x Gigabyte 980Ti Waterforce SLI
32GB 2133Mhz RAM
3x 1TB Samsung 850 Evo
1500W Evga Power Supply

(For the GM200-301-A1 chipset i had to decompile the kernel and add the signed nouveau and then recompile.)
