Is there a way to increase the internal storage for apps? Does anyone have the same problem?
Currently there are only 3 GB allocated for Apps. My USB-Stick has 32 GB, so there should be enough space.
Best regards

A possible way to try to circumvent this limit is to format the drive as exFAT and then find a way to increase the size of the user data partition to whatever is left on the USB drive space

Fat32 supports 32 GB. I know because the partition I installed Remix is 32 GB.

Yes FAT32 supports that partición size, however, it has a file limit of 4GB, when I was referring to the DATA partition it was to this file stored on the USB as data.img which can only be the size of the limit and is seen by Android as another partition in its disk.

(to note i haven't been able to test it yet because it won't boot on my test system that only has 2.0 usb) wonder if creating a second casper disk image of 4gig and mounting it as a folder on boot would help?

Did someone find a way to increase the data.img file/internal storage on a USB drive?

the only option is to install remix (you may use another stick and format it to ext4), to use entire free space, of follow neighboring topics to change data.img for a bigger one.

Check out my post (Super easy install) for installing Remix to get use of all storage space. Installation is based on Android-x86 which does give you the option of installing to a USB drive.

As John Smyth mentioned though, you would need two USB drives to do so.
