HOWTO installing third party launcher on Remix OS!

Tests are made with Google Now Launcher and Nova Launcher.

No SDMain needed

Simply, install the launcher from Google Play Store, go to root terminal (ALT+F1) and type

pm disable com.jide.filelauncher

Then return on GUI Mode by pressing ALT+F7 and you will see your launcher!

Please try this:
make sure you have downloaded another launcher such as Nova Launcher or Apex Launcher.
Press Alt-F1
You should now have a prompt with a #
type all of these, pressing Enter after each one:

After each one you should see a confirmation that it is disabled; if you do not see a confirmation then retype the pm command because it was not typed correctly. For instance, the three 'p's in the first command.pm disable com.jide.filelauncher

Press Alt-F7 to leave the command line and return to the desktop. You should see a prompt to make the new launcher the default. You may have to press the "-" at the top right of the screen to access the prompt.

Just to warn people this no longer works, it gives the option to enable the launcher but the setting never applies even after a reboot in beta 3.0

Close root terminal ALT&F7
You should see your new launcher

en lugar de utilizar el codigo "pm disable com.jide.filelauncher" prueben usando 

pm disable com.jide.networkconn.googleplay

pm disable com.android.launcher3

pm disable com.google.android.launcher.layout.device
