to Remix OS for PC
I was wondering whether it is possible to have only one OS, and that too Remix OS. I bought my laptop last month and it had windows 10. I used it and liked it but then I got bored, so I changed the OS. Now I am running Elementary OS. It is good, but not of my type.
I want to ask that can't I use Rufus to make a bootable pen drive with this OS? I can borrow a windows laptop to make my pen drive a bootable drive, but I was confused whether this method will work or not.
I have a Dell Inspiron 11 3148. Running on Linux Elementary OS 0.3.2 Freya.

please help!

You can use this great and easy tool on Linux/Mac/Windows to make the bootable USB stick: https://etcher.io/

Then you can install using the built-in installation tool of RemixOS/Android-x86! Good luck! I'd love to hear back how it went. The laptop sounds cool.

Most OSes work on a USB drive instead. That's why you'd hear USB booting way more than SD Card booting
