Surface Pro 4 Stuck at select language

anyone else have this issue? Remix OS EFI boots fine and when it gets to the select language setting nothing works. not the type cover or the touchscreen. i7 Surface pro 4.

I got it to work.. but not really what we want.

I used a usb hub to plug in a mouse and keyboard and managed to get into the OS.
But id rather have touch screen support.

Same problem here. They need to add support for the surface pro 4 type cover, touch and pen input. I've sent them an email about this and I hope they'll implement it in the upcoming updates.

all the news articles posted today about remix OS are misleading. Jide hasn't released preview 3 yet. Feb 2nd is still the newest release. and as of that version it was not yet fixed.

I got round the keyboard and touch screen issue by connecting a multiport USB dock to the surface. In that i blugged in a mouse and keyboard along witht he USB that Remix was based on. 

Havent tried the Beta which was just launched but that has a mechanism for installing straight to your internal hard drive.

Beta supports the type cover. Stil no touch drivers.

Indeed it does. Biggest issues now is touch screen drivers and DPI being way too low for such a high res screen.

Uefi. You should use that one, thats why you firt have to search your bios type and folow the instal/use instructions. If you are using the UEFI image then see if your usb storage is compatible.

Following the same steps described in jide.com, installing Remix Beta in Surfaces 4 Pro some work and other does not. Same model, same processor, same memory. Why? Does not all surfaces have the same graphics card? Does not all have the same firmware surface?

Please, who followed the steps described in jide.com indicate whether the installation has resulted or not, and what video card, processor, memory and what firmware updated.

Device: Surface 4 Pro 

Sistem operating : Windows 10 Pro 

Processor: i5 6300U

Graphics Card: Intel (R) HD Graphics 520 

Firmware : Updated 

Installation State: unsuccessful

Error: "Detecting Andoid-x86........"

If you are trying to instal it on the ssd, you cant.
If you have secure boot turned off than the only problem would be your usb stick. It must be a usb 3.0 with a minimum of 10 Mb/s, nothing lower. Some brands have issues, there is a compatibility list.

I am trying to load Remix OS into Virtual Box. The 64 bit edition wouldn't even work, now I finally got the 32 bit edition to load up and I'm stuck on "Select your language." I am on a PC with a regular mouse. When I hit the Home key and click English, it's as if the mouse pointer goes right through the screen. I can't get it to capture the pointer at all. It's the newest version that is out as of March 28, 2017.
