I have posted about this earlier. Figured id post again to see if anyone with an Acer Aspire One Cloudbook has gotten this to work.

I have honestly tried almost every possible way I've read on here. I'm no nincompoop! I just cant seem to get it to work. Only asking again because I really have tried...

WHAT HAPPENS

Everytime, with every method, I get the same issue. I am able to boot up into a selection screen for Resident or Guest Mode.

(Anything involving TAB commands I honestly have NOT YET tried, so if you have info on this, please add it here.)

I see the Android x86 . . . and then....

PC reboots to a blank screen and I see my USB drive (Have tried multiple that are up to spec) lighting up. And stopping. The backlight on my screen is on and sometimes the screen is totally off but the power light is still on.

I have waiting as long as 35 mins at this point.

Here is a link to the tech specs on my laptop from Acer's Site.

Maybe there is a component in here someone knows to not be compatible with Remix?

The only thing I havent tried and cant try (because this computer doesnt even have enough space after a clean windows install to partition) is installing on the hard disk.

Even if you can't contribute, thanks for caring enough to read this post. I just wanna try this OS already!

Have you tried running on the EFI version?

If not, it could be a GPU compability issue

yes I have. Now, that being said. The actual boot disk creator from remix os has not once successfully formatted a usb stick for me. I've always had to at the very least use rufus.
Please take me through the absolute correct rufus settings line by line. I've been told to install the iso image as an iso or as dd. Ive been told mbr for legacy + uefi vs other options. Ive been told to replace or rename the system file or delete the efi folder completely.

How would you do it? Then ill film with my phone and post the results.

Thank you!

Josh,

Mind getting back into this thread with me?

Some DID mention to me the Celeron N3050 Was new and using a newer GPU. Does that mean the end?
