Dual boot with Windows working okay but they fight over clock setting

When I first brought up RemixOS, the time was wrong as it had me as GMT. It seems the automatic mode for that wasn't working. So I made the time zone manual and set it to EST. Fine. Until I boot back to Windows and now it has the time wrong by the 6 hours that the time adjustment made in Remix. If I fix it there, it is wrong again in Remix. It seems like one of the two want the system clock to be local time and the other wants it to be GMT. If that is the case, I am not sure how you resolve that.

Same problem here.  It takes about 15 - 30 minutes for windows to automatically change back to the correct time.

Thanks for noting that. I did not realize it would resolve itself if I left the Windows settings alone. I will change them back to their defaults and poke around and see if I can find something that makes that happen right away. I think the underlying problem is that Remix did not correctly figure out my time zone automatically. Was that true for you also?

The settings in the new "modern" Windows interface and the Android settings look incredibly similar; rather interesting...

You can try adjusting both of them (in windows and in remix os) manually. Don't use that option saying "adjust time automatically"

I will try again later but I am pretty sure that is something I tried that led me to believe they are setting the internal clock differently; just changing the time zone under Android changed the time the internal clock was set to (I think; because after that it was wrong in Windows).
