Hello,

I wanted Remix OS install Beta on my Surface Pro 3. So I created a new partition, I used the utility to send the files to install on my score. Then I restart, I had the Dual Boot, and then, when I chose Remix OS, I got an error message:

"Double Free at 0xa0d24Be0 Aborted"

Then a return to selection of the OS.

When I chose Windows (10), I was asked my BitLocker key that I got in my account.

Now I'd like to remove Dual Boot, because every Windows update, I have to rewrite the BitLocker key (which is long), and that bugger my Surface Pen and makes it unusable for a while if I reinstall the drivers.
As I use it in court, it is not very convenient, especially for the pen.

So I decided to remove Remix OS: I deleted the partition and I wanted used EasyBCD software, it displays a message to me compared to UEFI, then when I go to the "Delete the entry" but Remix OS does not appear, but on every boot, the choice appears with Windows and Remix OS

Can you help me remove it ?

I would like to still install it, but I will wait for the holidays.

(
I am very bad in English)

Try running this in cmd (admin mode)

mountvol B: /s
B:
cd EFI

Look for RemixOS directory and delete it (Do not touch any other folders)

I had the same problem and did not have success with any of the methods listed here. I did a search for just removing another OS on Google and came across a utilitiy called EasyUEFI that did the trick. You can find it here:

http://www.easyuefi.com/index-us.html

Hopes this helps anyone that may be stuck with this problem

Doesn't Remixos come with an uninstall tool?
I used the uninstall tool and it worked fine.

I think it was in the same folder that remix os was installed. (Like the same partition or something)

Also, Why are people using easybcd on uefi systems? EasyUEFI is the software you need to use. Easybcd is for systems that don't use uefi.

I get rid of this problem, using a software called easyuefi, I saw someone recommending it in the comments.
So I installed it and changed the boot manager loading file, If you want more info and details dont hesitate contacting me at danieloroz...@gmail.com

Hope this helps.
