KODI on remix OS for pc?

Is there anyone who knows if KODI runs well on Remix OS for PC?

I've been able to install it from Play Store and it runs. Haven't configured it yet though.

Works fine. Connected with my nas, played all movies i tried with Dolby and DTS. After standby i had no sound and to reboot again. Dont know if it's an issue of kodi or os...

Works fantastic, loaded up all my add-ons w/ the config wizard, plays 1080p H.264 video flawlessly w/ 5.1 audio. CPU is an Intel G260 and a Intel HD 4000 GPU.

in order to get the mouse to focus on the links right click on kodi on the task bar at the bottom after opening and tell it to open in full screen mode

How did you connect your NAS? I'm running Remix through a flash drive, how can I view my external from within Kodi/Remix?

Videos>Submenu "Files">Add Videos>Browse>smb or nfs (or other sources - depends on your system, i prefer nfs).

Hi guys I'm running on Intel nuc 5cpyh connected to 4K tv when I get as far as clicking into resident mode my TV goes to 4K resolution and I can't see anything but black screen and help plZ

So, I have an extremely sh*tty old Vista machine that I've been using for Kodi and have been looking for a better way that won't cost me anything because I'm too dang poor to do it. I've installed Kodi on the FireTV and Fire stick and seen that it works pretty well, but I've heard that Kodi lost their Android dev, so I'm wondering which way you guys out there would go. 1. Put Unbuntu on the old crappy pc and run Kodi through Ubuntu or 2.Try running Remix OS and using the Kodi apk? Had anyone tried both and have an opinion on which works better? I'll be loading Genesis and SALTs and the majority of my content comes from streams, not locally.

Your best bid would be to go for Openelec, if youre after a clean Kodi installation. A bit tricky to install, but it will pay off. openelec uses almost no resouces and will be blazing fast compared to anything else you try. you could opt for a bootable SD card or USB stick if youjust want to see if its something for you. I have a word of warning for that idea. Try running remix as a live boot first on your vista machine to see if it's compatible with the CPU first. If it boots properly then your golden.

I have run into CPU issues with older PC's that have i686 processor's and not modern (aka) current day cpus. So try that first. I have it running on a laptop that has a core2 duo and well it's working great.

So far all I install from gapps runs smoothly.

Another word of warning is nics. Test with live mode again just to make sure all is well.

KODI Does't support Remix OS since Remix isn't getting any updates, Kodi requires linux kernal so it will not work
