As expected, I can't play any DRM protected video on Remix OS for PC's (i.e. Netflix, Hulu, etc...). I mentioned this was a problem in Android x86 on the announcement video Jide posted on youtube and they said it was confirmed working, but clearly it's not. I belive this stems from the fact the Android x86 does not have the media DRM framework required and provided by Google Widevine. I think this support requires that the hardware vendors pay licensing fees. If this is the case, I don't think you'll ever be able to have a fully functional Android running on a generic PC.
Does anyone have any better information on this or is it hopeless?
