"Resumed" instructions:
...AFTER A /system/framework/framework-res.apk BACKUP OF COURSE ! ...
1. Mount your system.img (If you installed android x86 in ext4 partition, just mount the partition)
2. Go to /system/framework/ and open framework-res.apk with a archive manager(ubuntu), or any winrar like program.
3. Go to "res/drawable-mdpi-b4/" folder
5. Locate the mouse pointers to your liking named as pointer_*. Extract files, modify them and just be sure to keep in mind the size in original image. This file needs to be the same original name  and with a .png extension.
6. Copy (or drag in most cases) that file into the open archive of the framework-res.apk file. This will overwrite the existing arrow image.
7. Close the archive, saving the file change just made. Make sure its still named "framework-res.apk"
8. Umount the iso file or partition.
9. Reboot in RemixOS
