Today I installed the Remix beta using the "Remix OS Installation Tool.exe" according to this video:https://youtu.be/vwKPHtOuweU

My system is an Acer Aspire D255 with Windows 10 installed.
I followed the video exactly and installed Remix on C:\ where also Windows 10 is installed.

Now everything seems to work and I have a boot menu from which I can start Windows 10 and Remix OS.
Both operating systems seem to work.

I hope someone can explain what happened during installation and how Remix is configured now,
I thought that during installation an extra partition woulde be created but I don't see an extra partition under Windows.
I only see the "C:\RemixOS" directory under Windows.

Where is data stored when working in Remix OS.
Under My Remix is see 7.2 GB available space. Total space is 7.7 GB.
Is this a separate partition of 8 GB and what is the reason I don't see this partition in Windows under diskmanagement?
And how can I enlarge this partition?

In your RemixOS folder you should have a file named data.img and that's where all your Remix data is being saved. The tool you need to resize that data.img file is RMXTool, which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/remix/remix-os/rmxtools-remix-os-data-img-t3308158

NOTE: I have NOT done this myself due to the limited storage on my tablet, but from the linked thread it seems like it is working fine.
