These following are notes I made for myself when the same thing
happened to me last year. It all came ok in the end although I'm not
sure how! I now make regular backups using the 'options'. Hope
that's some help but I don't remember any more details.
The Reminder Fox calendar is synched to your Google calendar at
logon (if you have a Google account and a good internet
connection)
But to be safe, make a back-up from: Options/General/Reminder
Fox backup. Put the backup file in the usual place under the
Reminder Fox folder. Restore can be used from same menu.
The /ics.bak files seem to be saved in:
:C\Users\Toshiba\Documents\Desktop\Old Firefox
Data\xhdtvv5g.default\reminderfox
On one occasion Reminder Fox was completely blank and I had
to somehow reinstall this from the Reminder Fox Roaming profile.
Not sure how I did this! Perhaps it just synched itself to
the Google calender?
Best to make it do a 'Sync Remote Calendars', 'Sync all
active remote calendar accounts' and check by logging in to Google

Hi Just updated to
Reminderfox 35 and of course forgot I HAD to back up all my data.
Cant find an older .ics file on my computer to restore. Are you
telling me that the old file is deleted when you upgrade? Whats
the point of that? HELP
Hi!
Do you mean that you updated to Firefox v35? ReminderFox has been
stable for the last few weeks.
Where did you look for the reminderfox.ics file?
It's possible that Firefox created a new profile during its update,
so check
http://www.reminderfox.org/documentation-faq-troubleshooting/#r5
for some information on where to look for the Firefox profile.
