Hi,

I am trying to remove tags using the api call rtm.tasks.removeTags.
But the response I receive even contains the removed tags, effectively
not removing the tags. When I check the RTM website, I still have the
tags associated with the tasks.

Is there a bug in the method or am I missing anything?

Just tested with milkapi.com and it doesn't seem to be working for me either.

Hi Indey and Jason,

In trying to reproduce this, I see that the response from
rtm.tasks.removeTags does include the removed tags. However, for me
it seems the tags are actually removed, as can be seen on the website
and by using rtm.tasks.getList.

Can you both try using rtm.tasks.removeTags, then running
rtm.tasks.getList and let me know what you see for the 'tags' property
on this task?

Regards,
Brendan

Well, now the method rtm.tasks.removeTags is working as expected.

The response from the rtm.tasks.removeTags method gets the correct
response removing the tags. So does the method rt.tasks.getList
method.

Thank you
