Please could someone tell me how to edit a label. I'm using an Android phone and nothing happens if I hold down on a label

You need to replace it with a new label.

1 Select all verses of a label

2 Add a new label

3 Remove the old label

After selecting all affected verses, select the labels (icon) button and uncheck the label. If no verse has the label anymore, the label is removed from the app.
