Why do verses I’ve moved to the “Known” category keep moving back to the “Due” category?

RememberMe is set to have you review your verses, at gradually increased intervals, to allow for more effective memorization.  

There are 8 levels for the "known" category.  The first time you successfully know your verse, it goes into DUE category ONE.  In 1 day, it reappears as DUE. The second time you successfully complete it, the verse moves into category TWO. It will reappear as Due in 2 days. The 3rd level reappears after 4 days. (see chart below)

     LEVEL    INTERVAL until DUE

           1             1 day

           2             2 days

           3             4 days
           4             8 days

           5            16 days
           6            32 days
           7            64 days
           8            90 days (I've changed mine to 120 days)

(Often, I cannot remember a verse the first time it reaches level 6.  I mark the "X", and it reverts to "Due", waiting to restart at level 1.) 

By practicing verses in a number of ways, over increasingly longer intervals,  a person's recall becomes stronger.  By level 8, you are doing the periodic review that keeps your memory fresh.
