Currently, there are several ways to implement this incremental study method.

(1) Keep adding verses by editing the passage. If you are at Romans 8:1-5, replace 5 with 6 and redownload the verse. The progress you have already achieved won't get lost.

(2) Store each verse separately, group them with a label (e.g. "Romans 8") and order your verses by reference (biblical order).

(3) Store the whole chapter as one passage and add line breaks to it. Then use the "Line by line" study method to practise it.

Personally I use (2), sometimes storing 2 or 3 verses as one passage and practising them line by line (3).

Good suggestions, Rev Peter. I use something between 2 and 3, breaking a chapter up into 3-6 verse segments. Each segment is a 'thought-packet' of related verses, insofar as is possible. This works well in Genesis 1, for instance, breaking up the chapter into day-by-day sections.

(Don'cha LOVE this app!)

That's exactly how I memorize passages! And, yes, I do love the app! :)

Recently the import verses no longer works, it copies the whole chapter even if you only specify one verse. This applies to bible.com - I've tried NIV and Chinese union translation.
