If you remote into a machine with a really high resolution, it can be hard to see what is going on. With Remote Control you can zoom in and out by holding down the control key and moving the mouse wheel or hitting the page up and page down keys.
The software consists of two components: a server, and a client. The server is installed on the machine, or machines you would like to control. The client is then used to connect and control those remote machines.
In many cases it is not necessary to install the Server. If you have windows administrator access to the remote machine and it is on your LAN, the client will automatically push the Server to the remote machine for you.
In the box type the hostname or IP address of the computer you would like to control. If the machine is on your local network you can click on the find button next to the hostname edit area. Once this button is clicked, IntelliAdmin will search your network for machines:

Security features in newer versions of Windows like XP SP2/3, Vista, and Windows 7 may prevent automatic install from working properly. To remotely install, an exception for file and printer sharing needs to be made in the firewall.
There are a few different ways an XML file can be used to pull computers for the find window. The first is via an HTTP, or HTTPS XML URL. You can specify a web URL that returns XML in the format shown before. The remote control client will check this URL for changes every time the user clicks the find button.
When the client connects to the remote server, it will automatically add it to the computer database that shows up in the find window. The principal developer and company owner Steve Wiseman passed away. Really a bummer, he was a friendly fellow that wrote good articles on technical matters. and I really liked having an on-prem remote support tool. The TLS ciphers is uses are out of date, you really shouldn't be using it any more.
We use intelliadmin on a point to point basis, internally. We never used ciphers...so will probably continue to use it. they should make it a freeware or something if someone is not taking it over.
Your client can know that you are connected to their computer or you can enable spy mode, in that case they will not.

I know the blanket, notice that it is deemed some level of control is deemed necessary for these applications bit on a quick review of the list I see a Security Camera management system, and a Microsoft System Tool.
