Download Vmware Workstation Pro Trial PORTABLE

Under my account info when I go to trials I only see the download page. After download and install how can I get an actual 60 day trial license key? The workstation works for 30 days by default or I need to input the license key.
I want to download the trial again, but I can't. It keeps on going to the page saying I have to buy the full version, in which is the version I don't want - I just want to stick to the 30-day trial. So, how can I download the trial... again?
Because you have already downloaded the trial version of version X, you cannot do this again for version X. But despite that your trial has expired, you still can run 'vmplayer' which is included in the trial. The player component doesn't expire. Also you can still modify your virtual machines. You just can't start VMs **inside** an expired Workstation. Starting VMs in VMPlayer is always possible.
I was originally trialing WS 7, but upgraded to WS 8 trial. I let the WS 8 installer uninstall WS 7. I've also tried reinstalling WS 8 (uninstall, removed settings too, reboot, install WS 8 with all default settings, reboot) but that doesn't help either.
I clearly understand that the guide says the Hypervisor Supported are VMware ESXI. But I want to use it in my VMware workstation.
I have downloaded ovf template and installed it on the Workstation. the installation was completed quickly but in the CLI login, I'm getting stucked.
So my question is , If i can work on VMware workstation? or are there any workaround to get it resorted ? In vmware workstation, I have built PA labs using VM series Images before . I don't know if this trial image has any particular restrictions!
Might need to boot into maintenance mode and factory reset the configuration prior to it coming up fully. The trial specifically seems to be having an issue actually booting without that step. Workstation will support the VM just fine, even if it's not officially supported.
I previously had an issue with 15.5.7, VMWare produced at some time a corrupted virtual disk that I couldn't repair, and hanged completely after some time using the ABAP trial. I also realized late that I had a 100% used file system, so of course maybe it was the sole reason, but it was too late to extend it. EDIT: I realize that 100% is "normal" as shown in the ABAP 7.52 VMWare guide:
