I know some of you have children 4-10 years, please help to fill this brief survey before midnight tonight. One is for the parent to fill, the other is for the child, the parent asks the child and then fills the questionnaire.

Do help if you can, as this helps us prepare the right materials, with an African flavour.

Developing a children's storybook to help children and caregivers talk about and cope with their fears regarding the Covid-19 virus Survey deadline: midnight Monday 16 March 2020 (Arabic, English, French, Italian, Spanish languages now available)   Dear Colleagues, The IASC MHPSS RG is creating a book to share with children during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The purpose of the book is to help children talk about and cope with their fears and worries regarding COVID-19.   The IASC MHPSS RG is seeking the URGENT support of regional and country offices and web platforms to share 2 short surveys through digital means with parents and caregivers through their networks.  You are also welcome to fill in the survey yourself as a parent/ caregiver along with your child(ren).   The 2 surveys collect information about 1) how children are feeling about COVID-19 and 2) what activities they are doing to pass the time in isolation/quarantine.  These surveys will inform the content of the book mentioned above.  Please ask parents and caregivers to complete BOTH.   Please share these surveys within your formal and informal networks, including spaces such as Facebook pages, community neighbourhood web platforms, Whatsapp support groups for parents/ caregivers, Twitter etc. We ask that surveys are completed by midnight on Monday, March 16 2020.   Survey 1: Children & COVID-19 This survey is targeted towards children aged 4-10 years. We are asking for parents/caregivers to complete the survey by asking their children the questions.  Below are the links for the survey:  English Survey 1 Italian Survey 1 Spanish Survey 1 French Survey 1 Arabic Survey 1   *IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PARENTS & CAREGIVERS* Please, make sure that your child is feeling and doing fine before you ask these questions to him/her. If you notice any intense emotional reaction while you are asking these questions to your child, stop immediately and offer your child reassurance and comfort.
