Hi, i only yesterday got around to resetting my Mail password to discover several emails telling me about Netflix being added to my account and to "click here" to register. When i clicked, the link said there was a problem.

I called VM Support and they didn;t appear to understand my issue and stated "your registration will be fixed within 5 days". Don;t know how that'll work as VM has no idea what my Netflix account info is.

I've signed out of my Netflix account (everywhere) and reset my password so i'm happy that what's showing on the Netflix channel and App is not my account (it hasn't been hi-jacked). I would though like to view Netflix on my VM box so need the other account to be gone...

Click OK on your 360 remote on the screen that you just posted. On the next screen use the navigation buttons to move all the way across to the left. It opens another side panel. Don't worry about not being able to understand the language/symbols on this screen or the following ones.

I recently changed TV and lost the Paramount+ App (from the TV Apps) and found the App on the VM Box. I then saw the Netflix App and thought, well why not use it, especially as the basic access is free.

Think i have a Tivo Box, the settings above aren;t visible to me. I can select "Home > Settings" but there's nothing obvious to me to find Netflix (I've been thru most of the menu options within Settings).

@RokuKariza-D Not an ideal solution, but I created a new roku account then factory reset the roku and signed in with the new account. Now Netflix works. So looks like an issue with the old roku account somehow. At least I can watch Netflix. LMK if Roku is not planning on fixing this and I'll put in a request to delete my old account.

I can log into Netflix and view previews. But, when I attempt to play individual episodes it loads up to 25% and never plays the episode. I have restated my Roku, deleted the Netflix channel, signed in and out and restarted my modem and router to no avail. Not sure if this is a Netflix or Roku issue.

You mentioned that you already tried removing the app. Did you restart your Roku device before re-installing the channel? That step is crucial when performing the troubleshooting. If you haven't tried the suggested order (remove > restart > re-install), we would recommend giving it a shot once again.

Thanks for your reply. The issue is only occurring for Netflix. I tried the suggested order of removing the app, restarting the Roku and re-installing, but that did not work either. I have done the system restart from the settings many multiple times as well. I'm not sure what the issue is here.

When problems are confined to a particular channel, it may be that the channel didn't install properly, that it didn't update correctly, or that the installation has otherwise gotten corrupted. A reinstall may fix the problem, so give it a try.

Remove/reinstall procedure:

Since you are still unable to play videos from one channel after attempting the suggestions above, videos from other channels play fine, contact the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help. Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developer themselves. In this case, there's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from them.

The only other recent change was to update Adobe Flash yesterday. Everything else is updated. I can use the other browsers to get to my Netflix queue, but I would prefer not to. This just started. It is annoying but I am planning to upgrade my iMac to Mountain Lion and would like to have as many things working properly as possible. I am going to let Netflix know also as the problem may be on their end. Thanks for any help you can give me.

A brief ps. The problem apparently is with Netflix. Now when signing in, they suggest that you delete the cookie if you are having problems signing in. They are working to solve the problem, so I guess it wasn't just me. In the meantime, I'm checking periodically and using Safari when I need to make adjustments to my queue.

Apparently this is an ongoing problem when attempting to register for an account with Netflix. When reaching the credit card stage, step 3 I believe, being turned away with the notice: "Sorry, but we are unable to complete the sign-up process now. Please try again later." Elsewhere the solution mentions faulty response to the card used or the bank behind that card. In my case I attempted to use cards from two different banks, one here in AU and the other on a US bank... and even offered to pay via PayPal... to no avail. Why? Does Netflix not want my business? Is this something personal? Is there another choice for the same service Netflix offers?

I called to Netflix support team and they give a solution and it worked great, I could move from Paypal to Debit card , I was unable due a message in a Yellow box saying that wasnt possible the sign up procces . On the phone you should say them you want to erase the paypal option from your account , then they will stop your memebership, try you to log off, the solution that technical support gave me was , not the click on the "Log in " option ( Never click on the resume membership , it will head you to the kind of glitch) , instead you must click on the option " Join free for a month " then when the page requiere your mail and pass just put the email and pass that you have been using normally for your netflix account , next step is choose your plan and fill your payment option . I had been talking for almost an hour with technical support and finally the gave me a solution . Hope it works for you .

I was stuck at the payment (step 3) option too. I managed to go back to the Netflix home page and view my account settings since I was partially set up. I was hoping to input my credit card there. When I filled in my phone number, Netflix said it had texted me a confirmation code and to enter it. It's been 2+ hours and I have not received any text. I also tried the option of having Netflix call me with the code to activate my account. I got a message saying it had called, yet no calls came to my phone and it has been 2+ hours.

I stayed on the phone with my credit card company while entering my payment information. They keep telling me no transaction is coming thru on their end, even when they check the declined transactions. It' s just not appearing.

I logged out of Netflix on all devices (computers, firestick, tv, etc.) and then waited 3 MONTHS. Then I tried again and my credit card payment went through. Mind you I had also done this at least once in the past and it had not gone through then. I can only guess that they let a % of new credit card subscriptions in a month and then try to make everyone else buy their Netflix gift card by saying their credit card transactions won't go through. If weren't for specific shows that are only on Netflix, I would refuse to do business with them. I am still dissatisfied what I went through to sign up. It does feel dishonest, and I am weary about what's going to happen when I have to update my credit card for payment.

I too had the same issue when I try to set up the Netflix account with my yahoo email address. When I happened to select the payment method it kept on givining the above error message in a yellow box for both visa and paypal options.

could i ask you some silly favor could you write the password let in text file then copy it from that file then use it to login in netflix in both safari and brave just to make sure there was not mistake or issue with some key on your keyboard that play you

it happens only on netflix, other websites facebook and instagram are working, yeah i tried to copy from my phone and paste it on safari, it worked then i did the same on brave, no password incorrect.

When you can kick back and watch a movie, the last thing you want to worry about is Netflix not working. However, there are plenty of reasons why Netflix won't load, with common culprits ranging from Netflix server issues to internet connection problems.

Before discussing any potential causes for the Netflix app not working, whether that's because it doesn't load or crashes randomly, we have to discuss one essential first step you should take: checking whether Netflix has any running issues. If Netflix is down, there's nothing you can do to fix the problem.

Other websites that can help you figure out if others are having Netflix issues in your area include Downdetector and IsItDownRightNow. If everything checks out and there's nothing wrong with Netflix, the technical problem is likely on your end.

It has happened to all of us: one of your favorite apps suddenly starts crashing every time you try to use it. Now you're wondering why Netflix keeps kicking you out. After the initial panic has worn off, you can take a few steps to rectify the problem, but it depends on your device.

Smartphone users should start by force-stopping the Netflix app. If it still doesn't work, try turning your phone off and on again. And if it still doesn't work, you will need to delete the app and reinstall it from the app store. The same methodology applies if you're using a set-top streaming box.

If you're using Netflix on your smart TV, you might be unable to delete the app. Instead, try signing out of Netflix on your Smart TV, clear the cache, and sign in again. Or, if you're using the Netflix app on Windows, try disabling your antivirus software. Many security suites interfere with the service. If you are still getting kicked off of Netflix, keep reading for other troubleshooting processes to try.

Netflix error code 12001 is caused by outdated data on your device. You need to refresh the data to get the Netflix app working again. But how do you refresh the data? Well, there are a few ways to do it.
