In the win32 / win64 folder, edit FLASH - All.bat and change the COM port to the correct one for your machine. There should be 2 edits to make here after flasher.exe and proxmark.exe. Save and exit.

Info: I'm working on a little project for college which is a simple distributed processing program. I'm going to harness the computers on campus that are currently sitting completely idle and make my own little super computer. but to do this I need the client running on my target machines.
Through a little mucking around on the internet I find that what I need is a service, I also find that this isn't something quite as simple as making a scheduled task or dropping a .bat file into the start up folder.
I don't need a lot. if I could just get it to call "python cClient.py" i'm completely set. Is there an easy way to do this? like adding a key in the registry some where? or do I have to go through the whole song and dance ritual that microsoft has made for setting up a service?
After months of consulting with several contractors about enclosing our screen porch with windows to keep the rain from ruining expensive sun room furniture we bought for our last house (and doesn't belong on a screen porch), I got cold feet. I realized I still wanted to keep the look and feel of my porch but windows, even casements, would make it another interior room and I didn't want another room, plus the prices we were getting were outrageous. Plexiglas was not an option because our openings are too big and really wouldn't do the trick because we would have to put them up every night and have no easy place to store them.
I had an idea put tracks on the window posts and make shades our of clear vinyl and was trying to research the idea when I came across Eze-Breeze windows. After checking them out and pricing them (they were a fraction of the costs of windows), we are seriously considering them.
Do any of you have these type of windows installed on your porch? Do you like them and are they easy to use? How do the hold up after several years? We live in New England and get lots of snow and rain.
I have a porch with these windows and love them. When we bought them 5 years ago, the salesman said the most popular location for them was Chicago. We live in East Tennessee where we get @ 70" of rain a year and 0 temps sometimes in the winter. Plants will not winter over on the porch. We will start using the porch as soon as the temp warms in the spring and will use it til late fall. Our windows are tinted, they do make the room off of it darker-but keep things cooler in the summer. I have never taken the "windows" out and used it a true screen porch as storage of the windows would be a challenge. They can slide either up or down. I wash them in the spring and we're good to go. One is damaged from the dog-but can be easily replaced--it uses a spline system. We love the perch and the versility the system provides. They are custom fitted to your structure. Would definitely do it again.
Before I could install the window sill, I needed to cut a notch out of each end for the part that extends on the wall past the rough window opening. Using a speed square, I marked the 2.5-inch measurement that I had taken, as well as the 4.25-inch measurement for the extra width that I added to the window sill board on each end.
Next, I measured, cut and installed the top jamb. Unlike the sill, the edges of the top and side jambs need to be flush with the face of the drywall. This piece also needed to be shimmed to get it level, and then I nailed it into place.

I have painted pine trim and used white Zinsser B-I-N primer. The knots bled through three coats of oil-based paint. If I knew then what I know now, I would triple coat the knots with white shellac first, then prime with white B-I-N, then paint, then pray.
I have a question about caulk. At a previous home, I caulked where my vinyl windows met the drywall. When I painted over the caulk, the paint would not adhere, the paint would bead up. What are the steps you take, and probably the product you use to be able to paint over the caulk.
I run a small business with 10 Windows 11 Pro computers, no servers. Each user has their own Office 365 subscription, using it to log into any of these 10 computers seamlessly. Now, with the team looking to work from home. I'm on the lookout for a remote control solution that's easy to set up, secure, cost-effective, and also plays nice with Macs on the client side.
Remote Desktop seems like a great fit, but it appears that the computer needs to be joined to a domain for this to work. Ideally, it would be nice to not need to set up a Windows server and maintain it.
I've looked into TeamViewer and similar solutions, but they do not appear to be integrated with Windows accounts. So, for example, if user A logs into a computer, and then user B starts remote controlling the same computer, user B would see what user A was doing. In this regard, Remote Desktop is better, as it only allows one user to see its stuff.
