Hall update:Its a hive of activity driving past the hall each day! Many tradesmen have been coming and going and there are generally a swag of vehicles parked up. A new gate has been installed in the tennis court fence to provide access to the tennis court without having to go over the deck for those with mobility issues. The project is supposed to be completed at the beginning of next week, but may not be running quite to schedule! We hope it will be ready for our AGM in November, come and check it out then. |

Te Kāhu Tiu:notice on behalf of info.n...@gmail.com 170 – 188 Ngatiawa Road
You may be aware of plans to set up a therapeutic, educational and cultural learning environment in Ngatiawa Road aimed at diverting rangatahi (young persons) from the criminal justice system. The project sponsors have lodged a new resource application with KCDC – it reveals an intended activity/scope much wider than we had understood from earlier engagements with the sponsors and consented to date. Further, a range of existing consent conditions relevant to the community have largely vanished.
A small group of residents, concerned about the potential impact, has been in touch with KCDC and is considering how to take the issues forward. We want to make it very clear that we are not opposed to the intent of the programme.
If you would like further information, please email info.n...@gmail.com. You may also get info on the consent directly from the Duty Officer, KCDC Resource...@kapiticoast.govt.nz
