I'm thinking about getting a laptop for the Sims and I keep seeing Acer Nitro 5 as a recommendation. Which Acer Nitro 5 do you think will run the game the best with all of the sims packs and +12gb of CC?
@puzzlezaddict Hi, it's been a while but I wanted to thank you again for helping me with the purchase of my laptop. I bought my gaming laptop a while ago and now that I have it, I wanted to learn more about how to go about capping the in-game framerates (I was not sure if it was okay to continue this thread to ask or start up a new thread). I also installed the sims 3, so if there is a way to cap those framerates as well, I would gladly appreciate learning more about that.
i've been trying to research some information about gaming laptops.I love sims 4 and i would like to get a gaming laptop thats has good graphic card and processor that will make sims 4 run smoothly. I have chosen three different gaming laptops I think could run sims 4 smoothly but i would like some advice as I'm not good with information about laptop and what is in them that makes a different.
I recently bought a new laptop, Acer Nitro 5 Gaming. I downloaded and installed Origin and The Sims 4, and transferred all mods and cc from my external hard drive to the new laptop. At first everything was fine but then Origin wouldn't open up the game so after some research, I copied the Sims 4 folder and pasted it into my documents which worked. Before I discovered this I also uninstall origin and sims 4 in case that was the issue.
to play sims. The specs for the laptop seem great; however, it has an Intel UHD graphics card and I wanted to know if that will run the sims 3 or if I should cancel the order. The laptop is Windows 10 home 64-bit, Intel Core i5 10th Gen, 8 GB Ram Memory, and 512 GB. But like I said the Graphics card is Intel UHD. Please let me know if it will run the sims 3 since that is exactly what I bought it for. Thank you ssm!
@puzzlezaddict I canceled the order it is giving me too much anxiety and I already have a good laptop for everything else, so I just want this to play sims. It doesn't have to be top tier. Just something that will run the entire game smooth with good graphics. My budget is around $600 and I would really appreciate recommendations, please ! Thank you!
@puzzlezaddict I would be willing to go up in price, but I play the sims very sporadically. the thing is I play with lots of expansions and CC so I am use to it running slow sometimes. How about this laptop? (I noticed you recommended something similar) My friend has this but she typically plays sims 4 but she said she has played sims 3 but not with an expansions cause she doesn't have any.
@puzzlezaddict Yes, it is USD. & I am concerned with the faster graphics rather than storage because nothing will be on the laptop but sims. Also, out of the ones you recommended and the one I just linked for you(Acer Nitro 5 Intel i5) , which do recommend is the best? I am most interested in the Acers . Thank you!
The latest expansion Growing Together lets you add babies to your already existing and new families and allows you to explore major life milestones with them. Not only can you customise your babies to a scary accuracy, but you can also celebrate things like potty training and bonding with their parent sims.
