Data table - All Pairwise analysis

i have two questions about the Data Table accessible after an analysis

1) if in Feature 1 i choose gene X, this gene appears as label sometimes in one column (i believe being feature 1) and sometimes in the next one (that i believe being feature 2) why that is? what does it mean if it's in one or another?

2) what's the "distance" value? i find that most of them are Inf...is that related to the distance in the chromosome?
