Anybody registering for 2009 Fall RAC exam?

I am thinking about registering for the 2009 Fall exam, the early
deadline of which is Aug 15th. Who is also registering? Maybe we can
form a study group or share some information.

I am registered for the RAC exam in the fall, but what I will take is
the EU one.
Anyone else also takes EU RAC exam?

I know at least five persons in this group have passed the exam in
last
couple of years.

You will pass too if you know the big picture of the industry of
medical products, read the Fundamental of US Regulatory Affairs a
couple of times, and study the Self-Assessment Exam and the three
modules.

It is not that hard.

The study materials from RAPS, the book, webinars and self-assessment
exam, will suffice. Depending on experience and background, the time
one needs to spend on the materials varies.

that you are already a certified RAC now. Could you please share your
experience in US RAC exam? I am still a bit hesitating whether or not

Thank you, Baobio, for all the info. Very very helpful!

I didn't make my final decision either. It is gonna be a big
investment of time, effort and money, and since I am still a Ph.D.
student, without industry experience, a RAC does not garantee a job
right after graduation.

But I am sure I want to go to the RAPS annual conference in Sept, to
have an idea of what RA professionals are like. Does anyone know about
the preconference workshops? Are they helpful for the exam
preparation?

Normally how long does it take to prepare the exam? let's say I study
for 1-2 hours a day?

Thanks Baobio for the excellent link. I registered the US RAC exam
yesterday, right before the deadline.

Shan, have you purchased the material? If not, can we share the cost
of purchasing the material? I have years of experience in this area
before I moved to Canada. We can prepare the exam together.
