Can we use questionnaire veriables with REGSEM?

My name is Gözde. I am from Turkey. I study about vaccine hesitancy. Our scales are questionnaire. Can we use questionnaire veriables with REGSEM? I ask this question because REGSEM want continious data. Can REGSEM be used when srveys are converted into scale scores? I am waiting for your answer.
