I wanted to write to thank you for some suggestions last year. I
used the Cox proportional hazard model on a couple of cost outcomes.
I work in a large hospital system and we are going to implement an
intervention program based on the insight we gained from using the cph, Mean,
and Quantile functions in the RMS
package (Quantile and Mean functions found in Ch. 15 of RMS, 2nd edition) .
For example, these functions allowed us to plot the predictions on the dollar scale which helped the decision makers better understand the results.
I have listed some references that were helpful to me in case others were interested.
I wanted to ask if there were any additional references you would recommend?
