[VOTE] Registry - 0.5.3 RC2

Hi,

This is a vote thread for RC2 of Registry 0.5.3. You can get src and binary artifacts at the release location [1].

 

This is a release with the below bug fixes.

 

MINOR Set revision as unknown when it fails to retrieve revision using SCM commands.

ISSUE-467: UI fails to load schemas without schema versions

ISSUE-470: Hibernate-validator updated with 5.4.2 which is in sync with drop-wizard-s dependency.

ISSUE-465: Replace ClientBuilder with JerseyClientBuilder.

MINOR: Fix flyway shell migration error.

MINOR: Addressed FlyWay lib dependencies which caused security vulnerabilities.

created sample schemas and ran sample producer/consumer applications

Created some sample schema versions and tested basic branching flow.
Tested out UI rendering in case of schema with no schema versions.

Ran mvn clean install on source
Checked the version in pom.xml
Ran registry from both dist created from source and binary artifact
Ran bootstrap migrate and drop-create options
Added schemas, played with UI

Thank you all for voting on this thread. 0.5.3 RC2 release vote is passed with 4 +1 votes and no -1/0 votes.

I will push the release artifacts to maven repo soon.
