Registry resource usage

Hi,

we want to check out and POC Registry. 

We want to have 2 boxes with Registry instances working in HA with each other and a separate box with postgres db. This will be just a Test environment.

How much resources will we need for Registry boxes?

Hi Marek,

Thanks for your interest in schema registry.

 

Schema Registry server

 Disk space

-          Not much used by server except for logs

Memory

-          Depends on how many schemas are to be cached locally, you can start with 1.5 to 2 GB

CPU

-          Schema registry is lightweight, regular medium sized machines will do.

 

Typically, t2.medium like machines are sufficient.
